This collection of digital collages plays on the subversion of expectations. 

 

 

Open Guggenheim

This collage explores surrealism while implying the transient nature of structures; how they are almost as perishable as fruits. Even a well-known building like Wright’s Guggenheim will turn into ruins one day. 

​

The work’s name also alludes to the magical phrase ‘open sesame’, which reveals a cave of hidden treasures when said. Much like this cave, the Guggenheim contains a precious collection of artwork.
